Hybrid Pop Up Class with Seraphina Wilder

Define or refine your makeup aesthetic and use techniques to enhance characters in this pop up, all levels makeup class.

Craft unique, glamour looks for the burlesque stage and beyond!

In this class, join Seraphina Wilder as we get into the details of what makes for a commanding stage face, how to get there, and how to make your makeup communicate to your audience your individuality—a must have for the stage!

Whether you’re a novice or seasoned veteran, this class seeks to bring forth new ideas on crafting a look or polishing one into dazzling perfection.

Class Objectives

Making your makeup function within different formats

  • Identifying a signature look that elevates and compels

  • Nurturing makeup inspiration, artistry and techniques

This class is a composite class utilizing lecture, theory and demonstration. Makeup application is not the center of this class, rather, aesthetic cultivation and implementation are key.

This class is welcome to all levels of makeup enthusiasts, as this class is geared towards intention, execution and creative cultivation. Students who wish to participate in the demos are encouraged to bring their show-ready makeup tools.

Notes are highly suggested as well as a passion for makeup!

In-Person Students

$23.18 - Burbank, CA - LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

In-person students will receive the address to the class location 3 days before class so they can plan accordingly. Class is in Burbank and will include fancy snacks as well as the opportunity to be in community with local, Los Angeles-based performers.

Bring a yoga mat, pillow, or something comfortable to sit on, as we booked a dance studio with mirrors for this workshop.

Virtual Students

$12.51 - On Zoom + Class Recording

Virtual students will receive a Zoom link the day of the workshop as well as a replay available to watch for one week. You are invited to come on camera so Seraphina can interact with you, but you are welcome to stay off camera if you prefer.

Participate in the comments with your fellow virtual classmates. The virtual classroom will be moderated by Miss Lady Legs.

About Your Instructor

“The Fever Dream Girl of Burlesque,” as she is affectionately known, Seraphina Wilder is a LA native based burlesque performer who brings her notably ethereal and dream-like performances across a variety of stages.

This statuesque stunner dazzles audiences with her angelic beauty and sinful movement, appearing in festivals, conventions, print and much more throughout California and North America.

With her ability to slip into a myriad of fantasies and characters, Seraphina invites students to join her into a realm where they will burn hot for artistic expression of the highest order. She has taught for Caramel Knowledge’s Charm School, BurlyCon, and one on one personal consultations.

Seraphina Wilder is a founding Burlesque & Chill troupe member who's been with us since our very first show! She's known among fans for her unique aesthetic and she's excited to share some of her tricks for including her face in her overall look.

Makeup & Jewelry Drive for Performers Affected by Wildfires

As performers deal with recovering ALL of their belongings and material needs for daily life, we want to help get their material needs for performing met so they don’t have to worry about it as much!

You can participate in 2 ways:

  1. Send donations to Miss Lady Legs who will shop on behalf of recipients and personally make sure items get to them. We estimate items average around $25 each. CashApp: $missladylegz PayPal: paypal.me/missladylegs

  2. Drop Off new makeup items and new or used stage jewelry during class time at our class location. Email Miss Lady Legs at missladylegs@burlesqueandchill.com to get the address and let her know what you plan to bring.

We hope to get each performer a set of brushes (est. $45-$50 each) and their wishlist of up to 10 items. If you know a performer in need, please get us connected!
