Beneath the Rhinestones
Beneath the Rhinestones is a 2-part workshop about creating high-impact burlesque costumes on a budget and how to care for those costumes so they never lose their sparkle.
Hybrid Burlesque Costuming Workshop
In-person and virtual class options!
In-Person Students
In-person students will get the address 3 days in advance of the workshop. There are very limited seats in each class (only 12 available in-person spots per class). In-person students get the opportunity to network with other performers, get hands on access to class materials, and can enjoy an array of fancy snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic).
Online Students
Online students will enjoy interacting with other online students in a virtual classroom moderated by Miss Lady Legs. They will also be seen and interacted with by the instructors. They will get access to any in-class handouts digitally, the class recording post-class, and ensure all their questions are answered via our moderator. The Zoom link is accessible on the Eventbrite event page after purchase and will be emailed to students 3 days before the event.

About Maggie ThrillEmAll
Maggie has been performing burlesque since 2018. She immediately fell in love with the glamorous gowns, corsets, and accessories. Combining her experience with her family's craft business and love for creating made costuming a natural transition. She started by making her own costumes as well as costumes for her troupe and has gradually built a small custom costuming business, Maggie's Goodies.
Maggie’s Goodies custom and ready-made costumes have been worn by dozens of local performers and seen festival stages like:
Mile High Burlesque Fest
Kootenay Bulesque Fest
Weirdlesque Fest
Hollywood Burlesque Fest
Las Vegas Burlesque Fest

About Mx. Tease
Mx. Tease (who performs as Fleur the Tease and Tricker Tease) is a Los Angeles-based burlesque performer, and thanks to two and a half decades of costuming experience and the messes they can make, has become the "phone a friend" person for many a panicked performer's "What do I DO?!" laundry queries.
In 2024, Mx. Tease decided to take their laundry lessons on the road to help burlesquers save time, money, and heartache, and were accepted as an instructor for BurlyCon 2024. The class was extremely well-received and with that proof of concept, Mx. Tease is continuing to deliver this class for other organizations, starting with Burlesque & Chill!
